My oldest son will be an 8th grader and he will play football for the first time. My youngest son will be a big 3rd grader. My youngest son has autism and we learn every day what it means to be a parent of a special needs child, the challenges and the triumphs!

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, fishing and hiking with my kids, and finding home improvement projects to do. I am aspiring to be a writer. I have written a fictional adoption story that is in the process of being published. I am also trying my hand at fantesy writing. I am currently trying to write a book titled “The Amestyst Stone: Chronicles of the Lost Prince.” It is based on an adventure story I made up with my kids as we were hiking along the creek behind our house.
